Whistleblowers’ House (Maison des lanceurs d’alerte)

The Whistleblowers’ House is an association founded in 2018 that aims to accompany and help whistleblowers in their efforts. It provides support throughout the alert process, both before and after launching it.

How can it help you?

The Whistleblowers' House treats all the files received in the strictest confidentiality to guarantee whistleblowers' safety. Furthermore, it provides a complete range of assistance to whistleblowers:

  • legal support, thanks to a team of legal experts and lawyers, to help whistleblowers know their rights or to have them respected if they are already subject to reprisals.
  • technical support, particularly in the encryption of communications and data. The Alert Center can even provide secure equipment in the most sensitive cases.
  • psychological support to individuals who request it, support that is often necessary due to the pressure exerted on whistleblowers.
  • media support to alert public opinion and thus avoid reprisals. This support is nevertheless regulated, as the publicization of a whistleblowing case can only be a last resort.
  • financial and social support. Whistleblowers who find themselves in a precarious situation because of their activities can ask to benefit from additional assistance. In the same way, the association can help whistleblowers in their dealings with administrations and various social organizations.

Activities

  • Support and guidance of whistleblowers
  • Advocacy to defend whistleblowers
  • Training and awareness-raising on whistleblowers' issues
