Point-Justice are free reception places open to everybody and present everywhere throughout France. You can go there to receive information or help on a legal issue.

How can it help you?

The point-justice places bring together different stakeholders and professionals: lawyers, associations, court conciliators, delegates of the Defender of Rights, etc. The sole activity of the point-justice is access to the law. You can therefore go there to obtain any information or assistance on a question or procedure, whether legal or administrative. Since December 2020, the points et relais d’accès au droit and the antenne de justice are gathered under the unique name of "point-justice."

The maisons de justice et du droit also belong to the point-justice network. However, the maisons de justice offer additional services. Thus, you can go there :

  • to be accompanied if you are a victim or a witness of a crime
  • if you wish to resolve a conflict out of court
  • to find out the status of your civil proceedings

The Ministry of Justice has set up a law access phone number: 3039. The corresponding number from overseas communities and abroad is +33 9 70 82 31 90.

This is a free and anonymous number that allows you to:

  • obtain information or assistance in completing a legal procedure
  • make an appointment with a legal professional
  • find out the address of the nearest point-justice
  • get the contact details of the reception service of a court, if you have a registered case
